Capture Studio

Overview

Capture Studio is a Windows-only screen recorder and multi-track video editor from OpenHub AS that merges capture and post-production in one desktop application. It records a full display, a single window, or a drawn region at up to 120 FPS, then handles trimming, cursor-following auto zoom, keystroke overlays, backgrounds, privacy blur, and styled captions with live preview. Speech-to-text, neural voice synthesis, and lip-sync avatars run locally, so no footage leaves the machine.

AI and output

Studio Voice provides 85 neural voices in 22 languages and clones a voice from a ten-second sample; Studio Avatar lip-syncs narration to a presenter model. Automatic subtitles detect spoken language on device, and Snapshot exports click-through sessions as Markdown, PDF, HTML, or PowerPoint.

Pricing and requirements

An Early Bird lifetime licence lists at €119 and currently sells for €85 with a year of updates; Studio Voice and Studio Avatar cost €21.20 each and are bundled with that tier. Baseline hardware is Windows 10 64-bit, a 4-core 2.5 GHz CPU, 8 GB RAM, DirectX 11 graphics, and a 6 GB SSD; the AI modules ask for RTX 2060/2070-class GPUs.
