Overview

WakeSharp is a mission-based alarm clock for heavy sleepers on iOS 26+ and Android 8.0+. Instead of a swipe, dismissal demands a completed task — arithmetic, a memory puzzle, a photo of a pre-chosen location, tracked steps, or a spoken answer. It is written natively twice, in SwiftUI and Kotlin/Compose, not as a cross-platform wrapper.

• Mission engine: fifteen task types spanning brain, camera, movement and voice, stackable with automatic fallback when hardware is unavailable.
• Smart calendar alarms: read-only, on-device calendar access shifts alarms when the first meeting moves.

• Sharpness Score: a 0–100 daily figure from rotating warm-up games, scored against the user's own baseline.

Reliability and Privacy

A pre-bed check inspects permissions, alarm volume, notification settings and battery restrictions, issuing a verdict instead of a checklist and flagging unknowns rather than passing them. Camera recognition and calendar parsing run locally; no account is required, and sign-in exists only for backup.
