Overview

ExcelForAll is a browser-based training platform teaching spreadsheet skills through 84 hands-on exercises performed in a live grid rather than video lessons. Validation reads the formula inside a cell, so a hand-typed total in a SUM task is rejected. The 17-part curriculum runs from selecting a first cell to lookups, charts and practical challenges, roughly seven hours of practice overall.

Practical scope

Method-based grading with pre-written explanations for each likely mistake, plus hints released one at a time.
No installation or Excel licence required; the engine mimics Excel behaviour, and most formulas carry over to Google Sheets and Apple Numbers, where menus and shortcuts diverge.
Tiered access — 19 exercises open without an account, 46 of 84 with a free one; later parts require a plan whose pricing is not published on the homepage. Written guides stay free.
Progress sync across machines and a completion certificate carrying a public verification link, with no separate certificate fee mentioned.
